Baltic Rail

Baltic Rail is a container-train operating and forwarding
structure inside Rail World Group, active in both European gauge (1435mm) and Russian gauge (1520 mm).
 
We develop freight services in the North-South railway corridor between North and South Europe via Poland and Baltic States. Being both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Rail World, Baltic Rail works very closely with Rail Polska – private railway operator in Poland.
 
We have 4 railway forwarding offices in three countries of Estonia, Poland, Ukraine, and 2 agent offices in Germany and Slovenia.

Baltic Rail AS is a part of Rail World group, which is a management, consulting and investment company having operations on railway markets of North America and Europe.
 
The longer-term vision of Baltic Rail is to employ gauge-changing technology on a border between 1435 mm and 1520 mm railway gauges, which will allow freight trains to travel on a regular timetable, taking less than 36 hours between Tallinn and Warsaw.
