Baltic Rail is pleased to announce its operating performance for the first 4 months of 2025 in its terminals.
The increase in terminal activity is generated by new connections to Hungary and the Baltic Sea operated in conjunction with partners.
The main intermodal route between the Adriatic Ports and Poland has been badly affected by the troubles in the Red Sea. Some container line services are still sailing around Africa which reduces the competitiveness of the Adriatic ports for traffic to and from Poland.
Commenting on the results Stephen Archer (CEO) stated ‘The diversification that is provided by the new routes is very welcome in these difficult times. We hope to see the return of stability in the Red Sea and the resumption of normal operations between Asia and the Adriatic Ports’.
Baltic Rail remains committed to diversifying our operations, forging new partnerships, and supporting new supply chains as the economies of the region develop.
